The sale of cannabis clones and seeds explodes in Germany

On April 1, 2024, Germany made history by becoming the largest European country to implement a national measure to legalize the use of cannabis for adults. German adults can now legally cultivate, possess and consume cannabis.

And it seems that cannabis clones and seeds are already proving very popular!

The popularity of cannabis cultivation

According to a recent YouGov survey , 7% of participants indicated that they had already purchased cannabis clones or seeds since legalization took effect. This trend is particularly strong among young adults, with 14% of survey participants aged 18 to 34 reporting having made such purchases. In contrast, only 2% of Germans over 55 have purchased cannabis clones or seeds.
