With our current focus on expanding into cannabis, nootropics, and emerging psychoactive substance markets, we are seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Specialist to help us grow our client base and business.

About the Role

We are looking for a self-driven, experienced sales and marketing professional to lead our growth efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire new individual service users of our online shop, B2B clients, develop partnerships, and execute marketing campaigns to expand our customer base. This role requires a mix of strategic planning, hands-on execution, and independent problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • B2B Sales & Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential business clients (cannabis companies, supplement brands, harm reduction organizations, and tech developers).
  • Partnership Development: Build and manage relationships with affiliate partners and franchisees.
  • Online & Social Media Marketing: Develop and execute organic and paid marketing strategies to attract individual customers, especially via social media platforms like Reddit.
  • SEO & Content Marketing: Optimize website content to drive traffic.
  • CRM & Sales Funnel Management: Use CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track leads, manage client relationships, and improve conversion rates.
  • Market Research & Expansion Strategy: Analyze trends in the cannabis, nootropics, and psychoactive substances markets (such as kratom) in Europe and internationally to identify growth opportunities.
  • Trade Shows & Networking: Represent Kykeon at industry events and conferences to establish credibility and connect with potential clients.
  • Business Administration Support: Assist with invoicing, supplier communication, and light bookkeeping as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
  • 3-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in a related industry. Strong preference given to applicants with experience in the cannabis or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the cannabis, nootropics, supplements, or emerging psychoactive substances markets.
  • Experience in B2B sales & partnership development.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO, and social media management.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a startup environment.
  • Alignment with harm reduction principles and non-punitive drug policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing industry contacts in cannabis, supplements, or drug testing sectors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environments related to psychoactive substances.
  • Experience attending or organizing trade shows and networking events.
