As a fast-growing global brand, the company is seeking an Operations Manager to join its dynamic team and take charge of key areas such as procurement, logistics, and manufacturing coordination.
The Role
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the company’s supply chain, ensuring efficient procurement, seamless manufacturing coordination, and the on-time delivery of products. This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes, sourcing new suppliers, and enhancing communication between manufacturers and distributors. Working closely with suppliers, a European subcontractor, and cross-functional teams, the Operations Manager optimizes operations while maintaining the company’s commitment to excellence. The role also includes occasional international travel to strengthen relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and key partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement:
- Expertise in sourcing high-quality raw materials, packaging, and manufacturing equipment at competitive prices.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Logistics:
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments.
- Handle customs and regulatory compliance for smooth import/export operations.
- Stay up to date with regulations for our products within Europe.
- Manufacturing and Inventory Management:
- Liaise with our sub-contractor in Europe to manage production schedules and quality control.
- Facilitate full communication between manufacturers and distributors to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure effective order fulfillment and resolve bottlenecks in production timelines.
- Oversee inventory of Raw Materials and Finished Goods to support production needs.
- Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee raw materials and inventory to ensure production continuity.
- Identify and address inefficiencies in the supply chain while implementing improvements.
- Manage the entire order lifecycle, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with product development, sales, and marketing teams to align operations with company goals.
- Provide operational insights and updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain management, or logistics (preferably in Food, Tobacco, or Cannabis manufacturing).
- Strong expertise in procurement, supplier sourcing, order fulfillment, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with international shipping, customs processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to manage relationships across teams and cultures.
- Experience in ERP systems and project management tools.
- Willing to travel abroad occasionally.
- Fluency in English. Additional languages are an advantage (German preferred).
