As a Junior Sourcing Manager (f/d/m), you will assist our team in identifying, evaluating, and sourcing medical cannabis and relevant products. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient and compliant sourcing strategy. Your work will help optimize our product quality, supply security, and cost efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplier Search & Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Support the qualification of new suppliers in line with regulatory requirements (GACP, GMP).
  • Collect and compare offers, conduct cost analyses, and prepare decision-making bases.

Contract & Price Negotiation

  • Assist with negotiations on pricing structures, payment and delivery terms, especially with international partners.
  • Analyze market trends and raw material prices to optimize purchasing conditions.

Sourcing Strategy & Market Analysis

  • Conduct market analyses on suppliers, quality trends, and regulatory developments.
  • Support the development and implementation of a sustainable sourcing strategy.
  • Monitor product availability and quality along the supply chain.

Operational Procurement & Process Optimization

  • Support order processing, delivery tracking, and supplier communication.
  • Analyze and optimize procurement processes to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain procurement data in ERP systems and generate reports.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Initial professional experience or internships in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with data and KPIs.
  • Negotiation skills in both German and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills, structured work approach, and ability to work in teams.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical or medicinal cannabis field (GMP, GACP, GDP).
  • Experience working with international suppliers or regulatory requirements in the medicinal cannabis sector.
  • Knowledge of negotiation strategies and supplier management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Interest in sustainable sourcing practices.
