Job Summary

Our client is seeking a seasoned Global Sales Director to spearhead their sales teams in Europe, APAC, and South America. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in these dynamic markets. You will develop and execute sales strategies, foster strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role demands a deep understanding of international sales landscapes and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Lead and manage an international team of sales professionals, to expand the team as the business grows. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to each regional market.
  • Manage budgets, coordinate departments, and identify new business opportunities.

Market Expansion: 

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across various international markets. 
  • Work closely with regional partners, customers, and stakeholders to understand local market dynamics.

Team Management: 

  • Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the sales team. 
  • Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Customer Engagement: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. 
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Sales Innovation: 

  • Drive innovation in sales processes and approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Use data analysis and sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

Qualifications

Deep Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in senior sales roles with a significant background in the cannabis industry.

Global Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing sales teams across diverse international markets, particularly Europe, APAC, and South America.

Hands-On Leadership: Proven ability to excel in both strategic leadership and frontline sales execution. A track record of inspiring and motivating teams through direct customer engagement.

Market Mastery: In-depth understanding of the regulatory, cultural, and competitive landscapes within target markets.

Results-Oriented: Data-driven decision-maker with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience in developing and implementing innovative sales strategies.

Global Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively to support business growth and customer relationships.
