Things are going according to plan for the cannabis cultivation club in Ganderkesee . Three months ago, it received permission to cultivate from the Lower Saxony Minister of Agriculture Miriam Staudte (Greens). On Tuesday, the first 200 plants were harvested. In two weeks, the dried flowers can then be distributed to the club members for the first time. And there are a lot of them - 500. That is also the highest possible number of members permitted by law. 500 members who no longer have to get their cannabis on the black market, says Daniel Keune, the chairman of the Cannabis Social Club in Ganderkesee .

Prevention important for cultivation association

Drying up the black market - that's important to Keune. Because, according to him, protection and prevention were a key reason for founding the association. Every cannabis dispensing will be accompanied by a leaflet that will indicate the amount, the type of plant and the THC content, says Keune. And a specially employed prevention officer will be responsible for providing advice and keeping an eye on proper use and consumption. Finally, every dispensing will be documented.
