Your Role
As a Financial Accountant, you will:
- Process daily financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements adhering to German Commercial Code (HGB) standards, with initial exposure to IFRS.
- Maintain correspondence with employees, suppliers, and customers for account clarification.
- Assist with travel expense and receipt accounting.
- Support controlling by analyzing target-actual comparisons and conducting ad-hoc evaluations.
- Continuously improve and optimize our accounting processes.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for Cannabis: A strong belief in our mission to revolutionize the European cannabis market.
- Financial Expertise: A commercial education, finance degree, or relevant tax clerk certification.
- Experience: At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international company group.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of German accounting regulations and HGB standards.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), familiarity with accounting systems, and adaptability to new software.
- Soft Skills: Reliability, structure, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a positive attitude.
- Languages: Fluency in German. English is a plus.
